I am a person who like to listen to dark music, to watch dark films, to see dark pictures. And still it is amazing how much energy I feel coming to me when I see the colors of spring flowers. It is the energy of joy which rushes into you and makes you feel like doing something beautiful. Here is what I found today in the garden 🙂

Although the song is a cover, Tuomas Holopainen proved once more that he is a great composer with a great feeling how a song would sound incredibly beautiful. This is what had happened with this one. I can not stop listening to it! Enjoy!

“The Heart Asks Pleasure First”

Silent night surrounding me
On the shore of wistful sea
A kindest heart made me believe
The world as I wish it to be

Wind in the wheat
Kiss by a hearth
Little hideaways for a lonely heart

Cast away in beauty’s gloom
The good in me, the child within
A cruelest heart made me forget
The world as I wish it to be

Home inside, but lost for life
Human heart longing for love
Slave to the toil, this mortal coil
The strife, the suffering, the void

Wind in the wheat
Kiss by a hearth
A dead calm winter morn,
Morning birds, and a smile of a stranger

Frozen moments in time
Little hideaways, the marrow of life
Little hideaways for a lonely heart

Wind in the wheat
Kiss by a hearth
Little hideaways for a lonely heart

Silent night surrounding me
On the shore of wistful sea
A kindest heart made me believe
The world as I wish it to be.

Few days ago I saw these little fellows pop up in the garden. I love flowers, especially when they grow naturally…

Today is the 3rd or March. 134 years ago there was a treaty which said the Bulgaria finally is a free country. This blog is not about telling stories how great is a nation or celebrating such days, but this year it is a bit different for me, and as this blog is more about some thoughts and feeling within me, here there is this post.

Every nation has its glory and beauty and pride. So do I share this pride to be Bulgarian. In difficult times it is so hard to believe that anything like this makes sense, but then it comes to a way of thinking. Because I was born there. I grew up there. This culture is coded in my mind and it is not going anywhere. Because the land is old and suffered so many wars and difficulties, because those people managed 500 years to keep the tradition, to remain who they are. I somehow feel this. I said it is different this year because for first time in my life I am far from my Motherland on this day. It is a regular Saturday in a small German city, but for me… well I feel it different. It is so strange not to see the parades and the flags all over the place, it feels so strange to listen to the national songs, to feel a bit different today and no one to notice or understand. But this is life. We all make our choices and no matter what I don’t regret anything.

And still… I miss this land, I miss those people, I miss the spirit, I miss my friends, my family, my life back there.

Every fight has a meaning, especially when it is made for the wellness of other people. There were thousands of them who died for our freedom, who died ME to be free today, to call myself Bulgarian, to be able to do what I dо. That is why I feel a bit different today. LET THEM ALL REST IN PEACE!

Поклон пред светлата Ви памет!!!
